Alessia Donà
Alessia Donà is Associate Professor in Political Science at the University of Trento. Her research interests focus on European Union politics and policies, International Relations and Human Rights, Italian politics, and the processes of construction of gender equality policies and institutions at national, supranational and international levels. Her most recent publications include ‘La nuove norme contro la violenza di genere in Italia: possono le pressioni internazionali superare i vincoli dell’eredità di policy?’ [The new norms against gender violence in Italy: can the international pressures overcome the domestic policy legacy?], Rivista Italiana di Politiche Pubbliche (2015), and ‘The women’s rights in a conservative country’, in C.
