Anna Śledzińska-Simon

Anna Simon_photoDr. Anna Śledzińska-Simon received the S.J.D. and L.L.M. degree in comparative constitutional law from the Central European University (Budapest). She also holds an M.A. in law and international relations (University of Wroclaw, Poland). She is the Assistant Professor in the Chair of Constitutional Law at the University of Wroclaw and teaches constitutional law and human rights. She is also a national expert in the ERC-funded research project “Proportionality in Public Policy” at the Israel Democracy Institute.

From 2007–2013 she worked as a national expert within the FRALEX network of the Fundamental Rights Agency of the European Union. In the area of human rights she collaborates with the Academy of European Law (Trier), the Polish Helsinki Foundation of Human Rights, and other NGOs on human rights education or litigation projects. Her fields of interest are comparative constitutional law, with an emphasis on jurisprudence and human rights, equality, and gender in law.
