2016 wave of Cross-National Time-Series economic historical data released on 16 May

EUI members now have access to the 2016 release of DataBanks International Cross-National Time-Series macro-economic historical database, which was released on 16 May. The Cross-National Time-Series database provides internationally comparative variables, including government expenditure, population, territorial size, GDP per capita, trade, infrastructure, conflict events, political measures and international status indicators. Data for over 200 countries is provided from 1815 onwards. The CNTS variables are described on this page. The publisher also provides an events dataset (2011-2015) with links to details of news sources for international events. Full details of how to access CNTS are on this EUI Library page.
