As of 1 July 2013, according to the Council Regulation (EU) No 216/2013 of 7 March 2013, ONLY the Official Journal published in electronic form ( ‘the electronic edition of the Official Journal’) shall be authentic and shall produce legal effects (Art. 1, 2).

The electronic edition of the Official Journal shall be available on the EUR-Lex website in a non-obsolete format and for an unlimited period. Its consultation is free of charge.
