German Law Journal Special Issue
Issue no 6 of 2015 of the German Law Journal is dedicated to Preliminary Reference to the Court of Justice of The European Union by Constitutional Courts. The Constitutional Courts of Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania and their preliminary references are covered. The dynamic with the Strasbourg Court is considered and the domestic constitutional courts’ review of ordinary courts’ preliminary reference practice is treated. A doctrinal, comparative, and theoretical grounding in the many issues involved in Europe’s encounter with these questions is provided.
This special issue confirms the role of this Open Access journal among the world’s leading academic fora concerned with transnational law. A new website will launch in February, 2016, with the first issue of Volume 17
