How to work with Zotero and the EUI library catalogue

A- A A+

One of Zotero’s most convenient features is its ability to find bibliographic information on the web pages you visit. Unfortunately, till a couple of months ago, a problem existed between Zotero and the EUI library’s “Discovery tool” so that it was not possible to use the Zotero “multiple-items” button. Now, instead, one can click this button, represented by a folder and located on the right-top side of any browser in any operative system (fig.1),

Zotero will open a window in which you can select the items that you want to save to your library (fig. 2).

If you enter into the page of one of these items, Zotero will show you a book icon still in the top-right side of your browser (fig. 3).

When you click this book icon, Zotero will save all of the bibliographic information about that book to your library, in a newly created “Book” item (fig. 4).

Having fixed this problem, EUI users have now the opportunity to fully enjoy Zotero when using the EUI library catalogue.
