The UK Data Service and archive has launched a unified portal giving access to over 6,000 ESRC-associated social and economic data sets, census data, government-funded surveys, longitudinal studies and business microdata. (For macro data go to this Library page.) The newly launched UKDS variables’ search engine helps locate study-level observations. EUI members should complete the online registration form for non-UK based researchers. Usernames and passwords are issued by email, after which it is necessary to log in selecting ‘UK Data Archive’ as organisation type. Write to econlibrary@eui.eu for assistance.
