SSRN: what’s in the name?

SSRN is becoming a very important research tool for lawyers. It has become a very large network of working papers and published articles including many important research institutes’ output. If you click on the “Browse” button and then on “ Legal Scholarship Network” and further down either by subject matter or by Law School you can see how much research output in all areas of law can be found here.

If you want to be kept up to date on a specific topic or series you can subscribe to the newsletter by clicking the button:

on the top menu. From there you select the network of your interest, select the site subscription of the EUI and follow the procedure from there. You will receive an email newsletter at regular intervals looking like this, in this case the LSN European Public Law newsletter:

And clicking on the hyperlinks you will be able to access the full-text. The usage statistics provided show how many times a specific working paper or article is downloaded and from this further lists of Top papers, Top authors and Top institutions are generated.

Keep in mind that the EUI Law Working Papers are added to this network on a regular basis.
