New variable-time-matrix for EU Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC) launched by GESIS

On 21 January, the GESIS Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences launched a new variable-time-matrix (Excel format) for identifying EU-Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC) variables by type of data, reference period, unit of observation and mode of collection. EU-SILC is a cross-sectional and longitudinal sample survey, coordinated by Eurostat, based on data from the EU member states. Eurostat announces changes to micro data project applications: EU-LFS and EU-SILC

Eurostat has announced changes to EU micro data application procedures to be introduced July 2013. This will effect new research project requests for access to EU Labour Force Survey and EU European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions. Applications received before 31 March are managed under the current procedure. An EUI Library presentation of micro data resources for socio-economic research takes place in the Library training room at 13:30 on Tuesday, 26 March.
