New EU Commission: Profiles and portfolios of President-elect Jean-Claude Juncker

President-elect Juncker unveiled his team and the new shape of the next European Commission. The new College of Commissioners will have seven Vice-Presidents (one of whom is the High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini). Those other than the High Representative will each lead a project team, focusing on issues such as ‘Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness’, ‘Digital Single Market’ and ‘Energy Union’.

Library data management support for EUI Horizon 2020 project funding applicants

Horizon 2020 is the EU Research & Innovation funding programme, 2014-2020. EUI members who are preparing applications for Horizon 2020 funding will be required to submit general information on data management as part of their proposal. This will be evaluated by the EC under the criterion ‘impact.’ Social science and economic research projects are included in the ‘Societal Challenges’ cluster.
