ORCID author identifier pilot project: implementation and cost-benefit analysis

Recently a report on the benefits of ORCID (author identifier) implementation in higher education was published.

ORCID provides a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher and – through integration in key research workflows such as manuscript and grant submission – supports automated linkages between the author and his/her professional activities ensuring that the work is recognized. ORCID is a non-profit organization supported by a global community of organizational members, including research organizations, publishers, funders, professional associations, and other stakeholders in the research ecosystem.

EUI Library launches access to premium portal of Central/Eastern European data & publications

The premium WIIW portal provides unified access to statistical data on Central and Eastern Europe, the CIS, and southeastern Europe from 1990 to 2014. Data is collected and collated by the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies – Wiener Institut fur Internationale Wirtschaftsvergleiche.
