New ‘Python for Social Sciences’ Data Software Resource Site Launched on December 11

Nick Eubank of the Stanford Graduate School of Business launched a Python for Social Scientists resource site on December 11. “This site is designed to offer an introduction to Python specifically tailored for social scientists – users with little or no serious programming experience who just want to get things done, and who have experience with programs like R and Stata but are anxious for something better.” The EUI Library Data Manuals Directory is at this link. Python manuals are listed in the Library catalogue. Access to statistical data is via the EUI Library Data Portal and the Macro and Micro data directories. The EUI ICT Service maintains a Directory of Research Software at this link.
