New Database on Long-term Sovereign Credit Risk from PSCS & Open Knowledge Foundation
A new Sovereign Credit Risk Database has been launched by PSCS and the Open Knowledge Foundation. The database contains “central government revenue, expenditure, public debt and interest costs from the 19th century through 2011, along with crisis indicators taken from the Reinhart/Rogoff’s public database.” Copies of the related book are available at the EUI Library (Badia and VSP). A presentation of the Datastream equities and macroeconomic database – which can also be used for risk-related research – takes place on Wednesday, 6 February at 14:30 in Rm.2 at the Villa San Paolo.
