The 18th edition of the EUI directory of academic publications and data has just been released. It provides a consolidated overview of the research outputs produced by the European University Institute academic community in 2025.
The directory includes publications and data across all departments and research centres of the Institute. It supports institutional transparency, research visibility, and evidence based reporting on the scholarly activity of the EUI. This edition also marks an important milestone as the Institute approaches its 50th anniversary, while completing the first full year of operation of the new Cadmus, the EUI’s institutional research repository.
This edition features a foreword by Professor Giacomo Calzolari, EUI Provost for Research and External Relations, and an introduction by Pep Torn, EUI Library Director.
The 'EUI academic publications and data 2025' includes over 1,400 research outputs, a 14% increase from the previous year, including 77 books, 249 book chapters, 161 theses, 623 journal articles, 115 working papers, 175 research reports, lectures, policy briefs, and papers, along with 22 new datasets and six videos.
Notably, nearly 70% of all research outputs are available in Open Access, making EUI research accessible to readers worldwide.
