The New Cadmus is Coming – Launch 5 May 2025

The Library Open Science Office is in the final stages of implementing the new Cadmus repository, designed to significantly enhance the visibility, accessibility, and usability of EUI research. With a modern, user-friendly interface and improved search capabilities, the new Cadmus will better showcase the scholarly output of the EUI community.

Launch Date: 5 May 2025 Ongoing optimisations will continue throughout the year.

Want your work visible on the new Cadmus at launch?

Please submit your publication by 16 April 2025 to ensure inclusion before the go-live. Questions? Contact us at: cadmus@eui.eu

Content Freeze: 24–29 April 2025

During this period, Cadmus will remain fully accessible and searchable. However, no updates or new submissions can be made. This short freeze allows the Library Open Science Office to prepare for the system transition.

Submission Deadlines

  • 16 April – Final deadline for scholars who want their work published before the content freeze.
  • 23 April – Final date for the Open Science office to include all pending publications to be in the current Cadmus.

Transition Days: Work-in-Progress Live

  • 30 April – 4 May: During these days, the new Cadmus will be live and visible, but may undergo final tweaks, updates, and bug fixes.

Please note: 1 May and 4 May are EUI closure days.

Official Launch

5 May 2025 – The new Cadmus goes fully live. Submissions will reopen, and any pending items received during the freeze will be added. Please be aware that minor delays may occur during this phase.

Priority will be given to EUI imprint publications, including EUI Theses, Working Papers, Policy Papers, and similar outputs.
