On November 26th, the Academic Careers Observatory  hosted representatives from eight European and national research agencies in order to provide an overview of various research and funding schemes available to both Researchers and Fellows. The agencies will highlight in particular those opportunities that are directly aimed at early-career scholars. Delegates will explain their programmes and offer advice and insights on the application progress. This meeting included representatives from the European Research Council, Research Executive Agency; representatives from the national research agencies of the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland and funding bodies such as the DAAD.
